Hey Heroites!

Some new Hero Business comics are coming your way soon, just preparing for convention season and getting issue #4 off to the printer this week — plus rewarding our homage cover winners! So stay tuned for a few coffee breaks and then, our FIFTH storyline!

In the meantime, here’s a A Will Eisner style tribute to one of my favorite indie comics of all time: Zot! by Scott McCloud. Any Zot! fans out there?

Rough Monday: Comics Go Christmas Caroling

by Hero Business C.E.O. on December 18, 2012 at 1:07 am

Getting in the festive holiday spirit, I’m doing an interesting little project — mashing up holiday album covers with comic characters of that era! Here’s the start to the countdown….

It’s holiday season at Arkham Asylum, and Harley Quinn has her own way of decking the halls. This one is inspired by Mariah Carey’s 2010 release, “Merry Christmas II You.”

It’s the 90s! Happy Holidays from Young Justice – Superboy, Wonder Girl, Robin and Impulse. “Justice for Christmas!” “No, just us for Christmas.” You just know Bart named this album. This one is inspired by 98 Degrees’ 1998 release, “This Christmas.”

So, Heroites, here’s an exclusive look at the albums I’ll be homaging… wager any bets as to which heroes will grace which covers?

I’ll be counting down a decade each day all week, from the 2000s to the 1960s! And I’ll post the final results here next week!

Lately, a number of fans have requested prints, which I usually only sell at con appearances. But there’s been enough requests that I’m making them available for the holidays – or until quantities last.

Each print is 11×17″ and suitable for framing, printed on Glossy Paper (80lb Text). And if you’re buying as a gift, there are a number of attractive 11×17 frame options on Amazon.com.

Here’s what’s available (CLICK TO ENLARGE):

Each print is $15.00. I’m also running a holiday special, Set of 3 prints for $30 (buy two get one FREE, essentially).

You can purchase them in the Hero Business Gift Shop, along with other great Hero Business product offerings. Please note the separate purchase options for SINGLE prints and SET OF 3 prints.

PLUS: Like Us on Facebook and learn how to get an exclusive holiday discount at checkout!

Thanks!
