Well, Temp Month has concluded. Hope everyone enjoyed all our talented guest artists! Personally, I loved all the amazing entries from my talented friends.

This week, we’re looking at the cover to the fourth Hero Business collection “Frenemy Mine!”, on sale soon!

As usual, I do an homage to a famous comic book cover. For this issue, I drew inspiration from Lois Lane #93, by the legendary Curt Swan:

It seemed like the perfect image to capture the storyline…. with Glamazon in the Wonder Woman role and Morgan as the intrepid Lois Lane. And Simon engaging in a bit of Super-dickery.

“Hoax Kitten”? Think they’ll buy it?

And so concludes our fourth storyline, probably the most ambitious to date, loaded with twists and turns and a few reveals. We end on one final corker, revealing where that flying vial of cat elixir ended up. So what’s Simon gonna do with it?

Lots of exciting stuff coming up! Next installment will be a holiday-themed Coffee Break. Then, January is “Temp Month,” where we’ll run guest comics by a host of talented artists who bring their own take on The Hero Business universe. Meanwhile, I’ll be ramping up the fifth storyline, which focuses on everyone’s favorite unscrupulous Marketing Director.

Alrightly then, Heroites, comments ahoy!

Our fourth storyline is just about over, but there’s still a couple of little twists before we wrap up. This weeks is Epilogue 1, where we reveal how Wallflower got her hands on that magic cat elixir in the first place!

Next week is Epilogue #2, and then we’ve got some Hero Business holiday strips before our second “Temp Week”, featuring some amazing artists!

Then we’ve got some fun holiday coffee breaks and the excitement of our second Temp Month, featuring some fantastic guest artists!

This week, I have a little fun with the proliferation of “celebrity autobiographies,” as many stars actually employ ghost writers and don’t write their own life stories. There was even a recent controversy over the validity of celebrity cookbooks that caused quite a food fight!

I love when celebs do the talk show circuits to promote their auto-bios, and then are confused by the questions…. a surefire sign they didn’t write their own book!

You can’t make this stuff up! Or… I guess you can! ; )

Fowler’s back… and he’s undergone a few changes. Everybody’s got a book these days, huh?

And now, I’m off to Rhode Island Comic-Con, “the biggest show in the smallest state.” Stop by and say “hey” if you’re in town!

I always thought teenage  super-hero groups got along too well. We all remember what high school was REALLY like, right?

This week,  Wallflower is on the warpath… while Glamazon and Hex Kitten learn that “the enemy of my enemy” makes for a good super-hero team-up!
