The Current Storyline
Before you “Just (Voo)Doo It”, better think twice. Black Magic can be cruel temptress.
Sidebar: I want to trademark “Oh No You Voo-Didn’t!”
Does Simon have any degrees in business and such? If so, I wanna check them out to see if they’re legit and not something he got from the local Kinkos/FedEx Office.
that’s an interesting question… did he get a degree in Advanced Scheming?
If he did, he should look into getting some of that tuition back. Obviously it didn’t take.
Well, I didn’t say what his GRADES were… ; )
Gonna take a stab in the dark and say his teachers considered putting him in the classroom with the “special” students., right?
“Oh-No you Voo-Didn’t!” – Classic!!!! I’d love to hear that line in a TV show!
And now we learnabout the technichalities of magic.
The real question here is, if out fair dark receptionist is so much more attuned to scheming, why is she the mere intern/receptionist?
… because she has some underhand plan brewing (hence the spell book), details of which are yet to be disclosed. There is an overarching plot, remember? Sometimes I don’t
you guys really ask some interesting questions.
“Be careful what thou wish for.”
We all knew it.
That old black magic has Simon in its spell;
that old black magic that he didn’t weave so well.
I don’t know on this one… ‘pay more attention to me’ doesn’t have to be taken to it’s outright extreme, nor does ‘get along’ have to be ‘in the world’s greatest bromance’. Sure, Brody he screwed himself on, but the other two are more ‘Malicious Genie’ level than ‘exact wording’…
actually, the problem here is exact wording. he never told them when to stop doing these things, so they’re compelled to keep doing them – so morgan is compelled to keep paying attention to him at the cost of everything else, and mali/bravado are compelled to “just be freinds” for all time
Yeah, pretty much what Beige said. That’s why spells can be a tricky thing, and wording is very important — which is what Parker knew on page 5. ; )
Another pun emerges! Also, somewhere Mr. Mxyzptlk must be really enjoying this story.
It would only be funnier if he was the hero buisness laywer
so what is Simon going to do when the “Bill Collecter shows up..One Soul.. please. You did read the fine print did you not?
I’m intrigued to find out how he’s going to get out of this ‘fine print.’ I guess Parker, with her superior knowledge of such things, will be able to fix it in exchange for his silence about the book.
she can already claim that he is the one who told her get the book,
she is the receptionist/secretary/girl for everything (ok sounds wrong…)
and he has the book and he had used it
well The Bill Collector would say Parker is the sells agent, pay up now…
